The Culture Center was founded in 1990 to meet the needs of non-profit organizations and other institutions that do not maintain their own special event spaces. Located on Columbus Avenue, opposite the American Museum of Natural History, the space is accessed down a sky-lit stairway flanked by century-old exposed brick overlooking a rock garden.
